surgical & prosthodontic course - Sheffield Dental Implant Society (SDIS)
These courses are designed for dental practitioners with little previous knowledge of implant dentistry who wish to familiarise themselves with the surgical and restorative aspects of the Brånemark and Replace Systems.
Topics covered include:
•Intensive, residential, introduction to implant care
•Treatment planning - case selection – use of stents
•Practical training Replace® and Nobel Direct / Perfect
•Radiology, Pre and postoperative care plans.
•Getting started in practice, mentoring, marketing and post course support
•Soft tissue aesthetics, grafting, sinus surgery.
•Solutions for challenging cases, same day teeth, zygomatic fixtures
•Introduction to “teeth in a hour”
•Bring cases for discussion
This three day course is held at Ringwood Hall Hotel Chesterfield. There is ample car parking at the conference centre and the hotel is a short taxi ride from Chesterfield rail station.
Our course offers a unique opportunity to find out if implants are for you and your patients and is an educational experience that can be built upon.
We offer basic ensuite accommodation included in the course fee, subject to availability in the centre, good food and wine and both a mental and physical challenge with several internationally acclaimed lecturers - that can change your practicing life! Delegates should bring an open mind and gym or swimming attire!
The course takes place over 3 full days and comprises lectures interspersed with extensive hands-on surgical and Prosthodontic training.
