Can you wear teeth during the course of treatment?
If the tooth (or teeth) being replaced by dental implants are in a clearly visible part of your mouth it is most likely that you will want to have some teeth present whilst the treatment is underway. There are a number of different ways this can be done, ranging from removable bridges to simple plastic dentures. If replacement teeth are used during the treatment stages, it is important that they do not apply pressure to the underlying implants. The patient should expect to make a further number of visits after the implants are placed and before they are brought into function, for small adjustments to the temporary teeth.
